Traditionally, standard shipping containers were able to hold only two vehicles, with the space in the roof remaining empty for the duration of the journey – a highly inefficient and expensive way to transport cars. Through our collaboration with the University of Warwick, we developed advanced software that allowed operators to optimise container space, transforming the conventional two-vehicle-per-container model into a four-vehicle solution. Through automated vehicle positioning, the software allows us to maximise efficiency and capacity, revolutionising the way vehicles are transported globally.

Recognising the environmental impact of traditional shipping practices, sustainability underpins our business mission. Our vehicle racks are constructed from high-grade steel which offers an extended lifespan of up to a decade, after which time they can be fully recycled in line with our zero-waste policy. Our R-RAK In-Container Racking System, for example, can be removed after use and reconfigured for different sizes of containers, ensuring our clients have access to an agile and flexible vehicle loading system that reduces the need to invest in new equipment - minimising demand on manufacturing process and finite resources, and contributing to a more sustainable supply chain.
