Trans-Rak International was delighted to support this year's Kenilworth Parkinson's Golf Day, a fantastic event that once again brought together local businesses, golfers and supporters to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
Held at Kenilworth Golf Club, the day proved to be a tremendous success. Blessed with excellent weather and a course in superb condition, participants enjoyed a memorable day of golf, networking and fundraising, culminating in an evening auction and prize presentation.
The event organisers expressed their gratitude to everyone involved, including the volunteers, sponsors, donors and Kenilworth Golf Club staff whose efforts helped create such a seamless and enjoyable experience. Particular thanks were given to the greenkeeping team for preparing the course to such a high standard.
As sponsors, we were especially pleased to learn that the event has raised an impressive £15,100 for Parkinson's UK, with the evening auction alone generating £7,000. These funds will help support groundbreaking research, provide vital support services and campaign for positive change for those affected by Parkinson's.
Jo Berry, Community Fundraising Manager at Parkinson's UK, praised the event's success and recognised the dedication of organisers Pete Lindsay and Dean Stephenson, whose continued commitment has helped the golf day grow year after year.
At Trans-Rak, we believe in supporting the communities and charities that make a difference. We are proud to have played a small part in helping such an important cause and would like to congratulate everyone involved in making the event such a remarkable success.
With the event continuing to grow in popularity, plans are already underway for next year's golf day, which will take place at Kenilworth Golf Club on Wednesday 16 June 2027.
We would like to thank the organisers for their hard work and for allowing us to support such a worthwhile event. We look forward to seeing the event continue to thrive and raise even more funds for Parkinson's UK in the years ahead.
