Everyone at Trans-Rak International is celebrating after our Director of Engineering, Wes Payne, claimed an impressive race victory during the latest round of the 7 Racing UK Championship at Donington Park.
As both a long-standing supporter of 7 Racing and an active competitor in the championship, Wes continues to demonstrate the same dedication, precision and commitment on the race circuit as he does leading our engineering team.

Donington's challenging Grand Prix circuit provided the perfect stage for another weekend of close Caterham racing, with drivers battling wheel-to-wheel throughout the event. Against a highly competitive field, Wes delivered a composed and determined performance that culminated in a fantastic victory in the second 420R race.

Starting from fifth on the grid, Wes worked his way through the field before producing a thrilling finish to take the chequered flag by just two tenths of a second after an intense battle for the lead.
Reflecting on the weekend, the result was a testament to meticulous preparation, consistency and making the most of every opportunity - qualities that are equally important in engineering and manufacturing.
At Trans-Rak, innovation, attention to detail and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do. Whether we're designing vehicle racking systems that help manufacturers transport vehicles safely around the world or competing in one of the UK's most competitive Caterham championships, the pursuit of performance remains the same.

We're incredibly proud to support 7 Racing and to see one of our own enjoying success on the circuit. Motorsport continues to provide a fantastic opportunity to champion the engineering excellence, teamwork and determination that define both the championship and our business.
Congratulations to Wes on a well-deserved victory, and best of luck for the remaining rounds of the 2026 championship. We'll be following the season with great interest and look forward to sharing more updates as the campaign continues.
