What a weekend. What a finale. What a result! We’re beyond proud to share that Trans-Rak’s very own Wes Payne is the 2025 7 Racing 420 Sportsman Champion after an unforgettable showdown at Snetterton. 🏆
Wheel-to-Wheel Drama
The final races of the season gave the fans everything - speed, skill and edge-of-your-seat tension. In one of the races, Wes crossed the line just one hundredth of a second ahead of his rival. That tiny margin summed up the entire season: competitive, thrilling, and absolutely relentless.
From the Workshop to the Winner’s Circle
At Trans-Rak, we usually spend our time making sure cars get to the grid anywhere in the world with our R-RAK system. But this weekend, it wasn’t about racks and containers - it was about passion, community, and one driver pushing to the limit. Seeing our name on the top step of the podium makes all the hard work worthwhile.
A Community Effort
The Caterham paddock has been buzzing all season long, and this championship is as much a celebration of the community as it is of Wes’s driving. Every battle, every overtake, and every cheer trackside added to the atmosphere that made the 2025 season so special.
Thank You
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who makes racing possible: the mechanics who keep the cars alive, the teams who work tirelessly behind the scenes, the organisers and promoters who put the show together, and of course the orange army of marshals who keep us all safe. Without you, none of this could happen.
What’s Next?
For now, it’s time to enjoy the moment and celebrate an incredible season. But just like our racks inside shipping containers, the journey never really stops - we’re already looking ahead to 2026 and the new adventures to come.
From all of us at Trans-Rak: Congratulations, Wes - 420 Sportsman Champion!
